Overhung pumps are intended for water supply to various NPP systems:
- automated fire-fighting system of NPP reactor building;
- make-up system of deaerators;
- water circulation and cooling in the sections of biological protection;
- dewatering from drain tanks;
- supply of wash water to filters-regenerators;
- liquid-packed ring compressors cooling;
- cooling installations.
Pump set consists of pump and motor, connected by pin coupling, and axillary equipment.
